they were mammoth cars with a real couch in the back seat. We could stop at deserted places and have some
romantic moments of stillness to meet the girls – whose gave us a lot of work. The cinema also influenced me,

How do you see the mixture between your much-intellectual works and others so popular in your production?
Apparently it is a contradiction, but today I see it with calmness. I still continue to write in my paintings, I like
that. Maybe it is a really sturdy contradiction... I was once at the Buenos Aires airport andmy aunt, who passed
away just few months later, handed me a shoebox containing about 25 passports of my family, inclusive of
people who were strangers to me, and a fewmore photographs. She said: “This is all that I carried from Russia,
is our memory”. I kept that and saw that those things weremy identity. We started the interview talking about
identity. I am that. These passports are me. I devised a gigantic passport and print everything in lithography,
a very complicated process, I went to do it in Colombia with a friend of mine who had the courage to print all
those passports in plates and lithographs

. I found a poem from a childhood friend on split personality. There
is also that people who leave their places, go to others assume new lives, identities, personalities, stamps,
